Sugar

Sugar
Over the past decade, thanks largely to the enormous changes of health, an increasing number of people are concerned about the fitness of students. Although some people claim that students should have a choice in what they drink in school’s cafeteria, I, however strongly believe that school cafeterias should stop selling soft drinks and other high-sugar drinks.
Stop drinking soft drinks and other high-sugar drinks is a reasonable choice for students to keep their body in a good shape. The primary reason for this is that there are some students in our school are really unhealthy and fat because they drink a lot of high-sugar drinks every day and they never do any sports. The way to solve this problem is to drink more water instead of drinking high-sugar soft drinks and do some sports in that it makes them healthy.
This can be best illustrated with the example of my best friend Tommy Wang. Tommy has been my friend since primary school, we know each other for a very long time. When he was in fifth grade, he was a very fat and unhealthy boy in his class because he liked drinking high-sugar soft drinks, such as Coke, Sprite, and Fanta and so on. All of his classmates laughed at him and made fun of him which made him very depressed. After that, he aspired to reduce his fat by drinking more waters than other drinks. He started to not buy soft drinks from the cafeteria in the school. He made a plan that he needed to drink 5 bottles of water and do some exercise every day. By virtue of doing that, he became really strong and fit, all his classmates changed their altitude to him. Now he is one of my healthiest and strongest friends. Similar examples abound, evidently revealing that high-sugar soft drinks are harmful for one’s health. students in the school need to control themselves to not drink soft drinks is a good vehicle for them to keep their health.

To sum up, though the advantages of that students should have a choice in what they drink in school’s cafeteria enjoys are considerable, they cannot compete with the benefits that school cafeterias should stop selling soft drinks and other high-sugar drinks brings about, when health is taken into consideration.
